Modern Classic Apartment in Kensington, London
Often when people move into a new place, they do not have the energy, nor budget to do a major renovation right away. Even more often home owners spend years in their apartments planning on remodeling, yet never getting around to it, having gotten used to the discomforts created by the previous owners.
We did a major renovation in this beautiful London apartment and did not only improve the feel of the space, but also solved a lot of existing problems. We talked thoroughly with the clients and identified their priorities - a bigger and more functional living area, large closets and storage, a better organization of the space, which was lost in corridors, stairs and entryway. The guestroom was moved to another side of the floor, providing better views, more room and privacy. The young couple prioritized larger rooms and closet space, over a large kitchen they rarely ever used.
The end result was a much more functional space that was in tune with the couple's class and aesthetics and a home that was finally worth buying in the first place.
